Burnham Carnival day brings Burnham to life with fun and laughter abounding throughout the Town.
Carnival has been in the blood of the residents since 1908 when a young man pushed a barrel of burning tar through the High Street starting tradition of illuminated processions continued to this very day.
The main event is the carnival procession which takes place annually on the last Saturday of September.
There is a full program of fun events which takes place for the whole month of September leading to the excitement of carnival day.
