Burnham goes fancy dress mad on the last Saturday in September for the torchlight street procession.

So many people want fancy dress for Carnival and at other times of the year that Burnham Carnival runs its very own fancy dress shop which is open from 10am to 1pm every Saturday throughout the year and more often during carnival week. 

Hire is cheap - we ask what you think its worth and then accept a donation ( minimum £5) and of course any profits are added to the amount that Burnham Carnival raised for local charity every year.

We are also happy to accept any adults or children's fancy dress costumes that have been purchased or made and are no longer needed.

We recycleyour unwanted costumes to make money for local charities.

WHERE IS IT

In the front car park area of St Peters School, Southminster Road, Burnham on Crouch.

Go into the main entrance of the school and turn left into the car park, The fancy dress shop is a white building on the far side.

Due to security reasons no valuables are left in the shop and so sadly there is no telephone contact.
