Dengie Dementia Cafe

Dengie Dementia Cafe opened on 16 December 2013 and is part of the nationwide dementia cafe movement organised by the Alzheimer's Society.

Volunteers and a representative from the Alzheimer's Society run the cafe for people living with Dementia and their carers.

The relaxed cafe style helps people to socialise and to access both information and support  in an informal setting.

Guest speakers sometime attend to talk about subjects relevant to the quality of life or coping with dementia.

Meetings take place every fourth Wednesday from 1030am to 12.30pm at Burnham Town Council Offices.
