Inspired by local musician Tim Aves, Burnham has a reputation for developing fine musicians although not all follow his unique rocking blues style.

Live music thrives in the area through performances in local pubs and clubs as well as exposure on Riverfest as local people realise that there is no substitute for live music.

Sadly as was the case with local singer/songwriter Kate Walsh artist who want to move on to bigger things often have to leave the district for bigger brighter lights in London and other large conurbations.
